We're 100% self-funded — our school's previous robotics team disbanded due to funding issues, so sponsors are crucial to our sustainability. Your support doesn't just keep us competing: it funds outreach programs, hands-on learning, and mentorship that help young people pursue careers in STEM.

Where Your Support Goes
Our projected 2025–26 season expenses total $37,000.
FRC is expensive: robot parts necessary for global competitiveness add up fast, like vision sensors ($900+) and competitive drivetrain modules ($2,000 per set). Transporting and feeding a team of 22 teenagers is pricey too, and an unmet travel budget falls onto students' own families. Your support is greatly appreciated.
Our Impact
Beyond competition, our roughly 20 students put in real work in the community. This year, we presented at the San Antonio Manufacturing Association and helped announce Yet Another Software Suite's YAMS and YAMG tools at the 2026 FRC Kickoff in San Antonio and the FIRST World Championship.
We host monthly robotics events at Landa Library for elementary-aged kids, run a twice-monthly Coding Collaborative class for K–8 students, and bring robot demonstrations to local events like Youth Code Jam. In 2025, we started and now mentor FTC Team #31617 at our middle school, and we run an annual robotics summer camp.
Our team has raised over $10,000 in each of the last two seasons, and our members have logged 4,000+ volunteer hours combined — support that helps us keep showing up.
Individual Donations Welcome
A corporate sponsorship isn't the only way to help. Camber Robotics is a nonprofit through Keystone School, so individual donations of any size are tax-deductible and go directly toward competition fees, materials, and travel. Consult your tax advisor for details. We also welcome sponsorship and matching gifts through Benevity — if your employer partners with Benevity, email us and we'll help you get set up.
