Our own competitive season ended at Space City, but that wasn’t the last stop for us this year. We traveled to the FIRST World Championship alongside Yet Another Software Suite (YASS) to help present the tools we introduced together back at Kickoff.
Standing in front of teams from all over the world, at the biggest stage in FRC, talking about YAMS and YAMG — tools we helped build specifically so teams with fewer resources and less experience than the biggest programs don’t have to struggle the way we did in our own rookie year — was a genuinely surreal experience.
We didn’t compete at Worlds this year. But getting to represent Camber there, on behalf of a project we care about, felt like its own kind of finish line for a season that had its share of ups and downs.
