FIT District Space City @ Friendswood turned out to be our last event of the season, and we want to be upfront about how it went: we finished ranked 24th with a 5-7-0 record. Not the note we were hoping to end on.
The bright spot of the weekend, by far, was getting to spend more time with our friends at Team 3481, BroncBotz. We’ve crossed paths with them plenty of times before, and this event was no different — they spent real time helping us work through programming issues we were stuck on, the same way they always show up for us. We learned more in those conversations than we would have gotten to on our own all weekend.
This event closed out our season, and it wasn’t the ending we pictured back at Kickoff. But we’re not walking away from this discouraged. We know exactly what we need to work on, we know our friends in this community have our back, and we will come back stronger next year.
