Our first-ever competition is coming up, and if we’re being honest, we still have a long list of things to finish. That’s rookie year for you.
We’ve spent the last few weeks going back and forth between “this robot is actually going to work” and “we have no idea what we’re doing,” sometimes within the same afternoon. We’ve stripped wiring, re-drilled holes we swore were in the right place the first time, and rewritten code that worked yesterday and mysteriously doesn’t today.
None of that has made us any less excited. We get to walk into our first competition, put a robot we built with our own hands onto a real field, and see what happens. Win or lose, that’s the whole point of why we started this team.
