There’s something fitting about our first event of the season being back in San Antonio — it’s where we competed for the very first time, back when we barely knew what we were doing.
We’re a very different team walking in this time. We’ve got two seasons of competition experience, a Judges’ Award and a Rising All-Star Award behind us, and a robot built on everything we’ve learned since our rookie year. We also just came off announcing YAMS and YAMG with YASS at Kickoff, which has the whole team feeling pretty good about where we’re headed technically this year.
We know better than anyone that competition doesn’t always go the way you plan for. But we’re walking in ready, and that’s all we can ask of ourselves.
