We made it. After Houston, we qualified for the Texas District Championship, and it honestly still feels a little surreal to type that out.
This is a completely different level of competition — the best teams from across our district, all in one place, all with a shot at advancing to the FIRST Championship if we do well enough. We’ve spent the past couple of weeks going over everything: tightening up our robot, cleaning up our code, and trying to anticipate every possible way a match could go.
We know we’re still one of the newer teams in the room. That’s fine. We’re not going to Districts to blend in — we’re going to see what we can do.
