Out of 90 teams at the Texas District Championship, the judges chose us for the Rising All-Star Award.
That award recognizes a team the judges believe is on a trajectory to be a major force in FRC — and coming from a team that, less than two years ago, didn’t have a robot, a mentor, or a shop, that means everything to us.
We didn’t get here by being the most experienced team on the field. We got here by showing up, asking a lot of questions, and refusing to be intimidated by teams with a decade of history on us. Districts was proof that the way we’ve been building this team actually works.
We’re closing out our second season better than we started it in every possible way. Next year, we’re coming back to do it again — and we’re setting our sights on a shot at the FIRST Championship.
